Sydney to Surfers Paradise charity bicycle ride

"Youth Off The Streets" (YOTS) is a community organisation working for young people who are chronically homeless, drug dependent and recovering from abuse. This program commenced in 1991 and supports young people as they work to turn their lives around and overcome immense personal traumas such as neglect and physical, psychological and emotional abuse.

In April 2008 and May 2009, Neil cycled from Sydney to Surfers Paradise along with approximately 180 other riders who, were all seeking to raise valuable funds to continue the good work of Father Chris Riley. The distance they cycled was 900kms in the seven day period and resulted in over $200,000.00 being raised on each occasion for the YOTS program.
